This is a classic 14 days trip Leh, Ladakh tour with Golden Temple. Ladakh is the highest, most remote and least populated region in the whole country. The trip takes you to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, situated on the banks of the Indus, at a height of 11,000 feet (3500 meters), and gives you an opportunity to explore the town of Leh, with its vibrant markets and discover the monasteries and valleys of the Indus valley. This tour gives you an opportunity to visit the Nubra valley, and crossing the Khardongla pass, supposedly the highest motorable road in the world. Come closer to the dominating peaks as you scale the 'region of snowy mountains'- Himachal Pradesh. Find reminders of the colonial era at Dalhousie, peace at Dharamshala, pristine landscapes sprinkled with merriment in Manali
End the journey by bowing down at the Golden Temple in Amritsar for blessings.

Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrive / Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi airport in the morning & meet our representative, will assist you till hotel and discuss tour briefly.


Afternoon at leisure


Day 02 - Delhi / Leh

Morning transfer to airport to catch the flight to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization

Day 03 - Leh

Visit to monasteries – SHEY, THIKSE, HEMIS, and visit Ladakhi house also, A typical Ladakhi house is made of mud bricks. The center of the room is the kitchen cum guest room. Sitting are like that of Japanese thus by using low tables and Tibetan carpets where one sits in a meditation posture crossed leg. Ground floor is used during the winters called “Goontsa” and the top floors are used during summer. A visit to a Ladakhi house gives chance to directly interact with local and inside into custom. You can try “Chang” the local bear or salt tea. You may like to dress and photographed in traditional Ladakhi dress.


Day 04 - Leh

Full day visit to SPITUK  monastery & Sankar


Day 05 - Leh / Nubra valley

After breakfast, you will be met by our representative and assisted with check-out formalities. You will then start your drive to Nubra Valley. Drive past world’s highest motorable road at Khardungla Pass, said to be one of the highlights of any Leh, Ladakh tour.


khardungla pass : The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms.


Nubra Valley - The Nubra means Ldumra (the valley of flowers), situated in the north of Leh. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The main attraction in this area is Bactarian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes.
On arrival at Nubra, Check in into hotel.


Later in the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken a guided sightseeing tour of Nubra Valley. Tour includes visits following places of interest:- Deskit village,Deskit Gompa: ,hundar village.


Day 06 - Nubra Valley / Leh

Morning after breakfast visit Samstanling Monastery then drive back to Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road.


Day 07 - Leh / Sarchu

Morning drive to Sarchu, on arrival check into Sarchu camp, later visit nearby area


Day 08 - Sarch / Jispa

Morning drive to Jispa, on arrival check into Jispa camp, later visit nearby area


Day 09 - Jispa / manali

Morning drive to Manali , on arrival check into hotel, afternoon at leisure


Day 10 - Manali

Embark on a full day local sightseeing trip of Manali, covering Hadimba Temple, Club House Evening visit The Mall and Gompa

Day 11 - Manali / Dharamsala

Morning drive to Dharamsala, om arrival check in into hotel


Afternoon visit to His holiness Dalai Lama monastery, later visit to ROYAL KANGRA MUSEUM – dedicated to Maharaja Sansar Chandra. Maharaja Sansar Chandra inherited the throne of Kangra when he was just 10 years old. By the age of 21 he had defeated the Mughals and had won back his ancestral fort of Kangra. True to the saying “He who holds the Fort rules the hills” The young Maharaja ushered in an age of prosperity and the Indian renaissance of paintings.

Day 12 - Dharamsala / Amritsar

Morning drive to Amritsar, on arrival check into hotel


Later visit Golden Temple

Day 13 - Amritsar / Delhi

Morning Train to Delhi, meeting & assistance in arrival and transfer to hotel


Embark on a half day of exploration of Old & New Delhi. Highlights include the Jama Masjid, the most important mosque in India; Chandni Chowk bazaar will show you more colours on your rickshaw ride. Visit Qutub Minar, the highest tower in India, and Humayun’s Tomb, an early example of Mughal architecture.

Day 14 - Delhi / Home country

In time transfer to International airport to board onward flight to home country with best memories from Beautiful Himalaya with Fairy Tales
